High up in Tokyo tower a scenic and stunning dinner awaits. Looking out the window at the Main Observatory café you can see the entire panorama of the city light up in the night sky.

Picnic in the Kokyo Gaien Park

South of the entrance to the East Palace Gardens you’ll find an enormous clearing. On the far side bordering Marunouchi there is a lush green field with small Japanese pine trees open to the public. Take your loved one to this ideal location for a quite and charming picnic.

Take your sweetheart out for some fun at Tokyo’s state-of-the-art (and largest) Toho Cinema in Roppongi Hills. Afterwards take a walk to Tokyo Midtown and grab some of Tokyo’s best and most creative pastry at Aoki Pastry.

It can’t get any more romantic then dinner at a café in Paris. Well this may not be Paris but it certainly does feel like it at the Robucho Chateaux restaurant in Ebisu’s Garden Place. After lunch take a stroll arm and arm through the promenades.

Stroll through Harajuku

Take a stroll through central Harajuku for a little window shopping amongst some of Tokyo’s top fashion retailers. Stop by at Café Crepe for some Japanese Crepes and then continue north on Meiji dori and you’ll come to the charming Togo shrine and garden where you can take your time meandering through the scenic pond and garden.

Tea at the Rikugien Gardens

A pleasant and charming walk through one of Tokyo’s finest gardens is one of the best ways a couple could spend the afternoon. The Rikugien is rich in beauty and atmosphere, you could easily spend an hour exploring at a slow pace. When the time is right you can visit the tea house on the pond shore and have a cup of Japanese green tea and some traditional Japanese sweets.

Meguro Gajoen Hotel

Karaoke at Ginza

First explore the underground market at the Mitsukoshi department store, here you will find a vast array of traditional and European snacks, desserts, a deli, produce and restaurants. Next head toward the Fujitsu building which is directly across the street from the Yurakucho station and the massive Mullion Building. Next to the Fujitsu you will find “Big Echo” Karaoke, the host will give you a private room where you can sing your heart away. (They also provide an English song book for foreigners)

Stroll through Yokohama

There’s nothing quite like the promenade and environs found in downtown Yokohama at Mirai 21 and Yamashita Park. The walk along the bay is so beautiful that it has become a hot spot for couples to walk and sit together. Stop by at the Akarenga Soko (Red Brick Warehouse) for some Hawaiian hamburgers at the Kua Aina.
